Welcome to Amigos of Medina!

Your go-to source for insights and updates on our path to a stronger, more equitable Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD).

I’m Gabriel Jesse Medina, a fourth-generation Watsonville native, filmmaker, educator, and advocate deeply invested in our community’s future. I’m currently running for the PVUSD School Board Trustee Area 3 seat because I believe every student in our district deserves access to quality education, and that our community’s unique voice must be at the center of school district decisions.

Through Amigos of Medina, I’ll keep you informed about PVUSD news, key decisions affecting our schools, and community events that bring us together. This newsletter will also be a space for exploring big ideas and thoughtful discussions on making our schools the best they can be—a place where all students can thrive academically, culturally, and personally.
